Black on Black is one of my favourite combinations. When a piece comes alive through the different shapes and just enough warm gold to make it shine! I have hand-gilded some of the lava beads to do this in a subtle sort of way!

Using the same technique the painter Gustav Klimt used to create his unbelievable gold effects on his paintings,I used 24k gold leaf to gild meek black lava beads. Each bead looks like a small globe with unknown gold continents…. The simplicity and classic timeless combination of gold and raven black had been created by using a carved Jade pendant Onyx, Lava, Tourmaline and Agates and 22k gold plated findings from Istanbul.

The pendant is substantial, but the weight is well distributed over the décolletage so I don’t really feel the weight. However, if you are weight- sensitive, this necklace might not be for you!
